This weekend is the Common Wealth Games' baton relay and we are asking Parkers to bring family and friends down to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park make an event of it!

QUEEN BATON RELAY
This Sunday 8th June Our Parks will be delivering the Waltham Forest  Baton Relay Parade Warm Up, 11am at Leyton Jubilee Park . Be part of the warm up by booking here. After the warm up you can join our coach, Onur, leading the walk behind the steel band procession up to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, were there will be tons of FREE fun activities for you and the family.

Also, Our Parks will be delivering free Hula Hoop Fitness, Yoga and Box Fit taster sessions all day (09:30 - 17:00) next to the stage in the Queen Elizabeth Park. WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT OUR CLASSES?
Waltham Forest council want to showcase how much fun we are having turning up to tone it up, and are looking to feature a class in a their magazine. A photographer will be popping along to a session in Leyton Jubilee Park next week and we are looking for residents that might be willing to take part in a short telephone interview about how they've found the sessions so far. Can I please have some Parkers who maybe interested to send me an email.
