PARK & PASS IT ON!
Date:
We are asking Parkers to help us grow by spreading the word and become our marketing ambassadors to help us achieve our year two goal of 100,000 Parkers parking for FREE. On average, every new Parker brings 1 additional new Parker with them, and we want you actively to improve this by telling at least 2 - 4 new people about the programme and encouraging them to do the same. We currently have between 700 - 1,000 new people signing up per week, so let's try this simple task and aim for 2,000 new Parkers signing up per week. #PassItOn
WHY THIS WILL HELP?
Due to the popularity of the programme, our 11,000+ Parkers, and sessions being packed week in week out, we are gaining interest from exciting partners and sponsors.
My aim is to not only keep Our Parks FREE for you all but to grow across London and surrounding counties and to reward our funders in the future for their leap of faith to run with the programme. If you work in a company that you believe might be interested in what we do and having a discussion about sponsorship opportunities, please do let me know here.
The London Borough of Hackney would like to thank you for being part of the Our Spaces programme and hope that you have found the scheme both enjoyable and beneficial. The Council is currently undertaking a tender process to appoint a company to deliver an exercise programme within the boroughs parks and community venues from the Summer of 2015. We have submitted a tender and once details are confirmed, information will be publicised throughout the borough including on Hackney Council website.
In the interim, details of some of the provision currently being offered within Hackney are at the end of this newsletter and Parkers are welcome to attend neighbouring park sessions.
