Sophie Tosones 30 Minute Wednesday Workout

It's Workout Wednesday! Check out this weeks workout from Sophie Tosone: 

 

The Warm Up 

Do warm-up for 7-10 minutes ( each exercise for 30 seconds and then repeat)

  • Marching on the spot – add arms up and over your head
  • Heel flicks – in a jogging motion, flick your heels up to your glutes at the back
  • High knees – in a jogging motion, lift your knees up to hip height as you jog
  • Knee hugs – in a standing position, lift one knee up and hug it into your chest, maintaining your balance. Switch sides and repeat
  • Shoulder rolls – forwards then backwards

Circuit Workout: 

Do each exercise for 60 seconds and rest for 30 seconds in between (repeat the circuits once through) – 18 minutes.

  • Bodyweight squats
  • Box press ups
  • Knees to plank
  • Shadow punches
  • Alternating lunges

 

Part 2

  • Hip lift's

  • Kneeling straight arm circles
  • Seated Russian twists
  • Step tap wide squat
  • Knee to elbow raisers (standing)

Cool Down: 5 - 7 minutes (30-45 seconds each stretch)

  • Lying glute stretch
  • Lying hamstring stretch
  • Standing quad stretch
  • Child’s pose
  • Upper back stretch
  • Chest stretch
  • Kneeling shoulder stretch 
  • Hip flexor stretch
