Last Thursday was the Oscars' of the sport's industry when the BT Sport Industry Awards 2017 were held in London. Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill CBE was presented with the Outstanding Contribution to Sport Award, oh and have we mentioned that we were crowned the Community Programme of the Year!!!

We beat off stiff and admirable competition from the English Football League, NatWest & Royal Bank of Scotland, Parkrun UK, Rugby Football Union and Yorkshire Bank to win our category.

This is a huge accolade and testimony to our culture of bringing outdoor exercise communities together.

Thank you so much to every single Parker, council, governing body, sponsor, friend and family for your incredible support.  This is such a powerful award to have and we intend to put it to good use!
